Come Ride The Wind With Me

Come Ride the Wind With Me was the first big hit that Alfred had in the jazz song department. He wrote it early in 1964, with Bryan Lindsay, under the pseudonym Bart Howell. The song was picked up and recorded by Johnny Mathis, who liked the tune but did not believe it would be a hit. After it turned out to be one, Alfred and Lindsay attempted to write more tunes for Johnny Mathis, but never matched the popularity of “Come Ride the Wind With Me.” This part contains a realized accompaniment of an original lead sheet with chords.
