About the Exhibition

[Items for Cultures in Clay Exhibit]
The exhibit is curated by Dr. Annalisa Azzoni, Dr. Douglas Knight, Serena McMillan (Vanderbilt, GDR), Jonathan Redding (Nebraska Wesleyan University), Michael Sekuras (Vanderbilt, GDR) and Charlotte Lew (Vanderbilt, Divinity Library).

The library is indebted to Dr. Andrea Seri, Professor of Ancient History, History Department, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, for her contributions toward identifying and translating the Stevenson’s tablets. With the Divinity Library’s support, Dr. Azzoni, Dr. Knight, Serena Jarvis and Michael Sekuras continue to conduct research on the Stevenson cuneiform tablets collection and the Poebel cylinder seals collection. This collaboration is a significant undertaking committed to understanding and highlighting this prominent collection.
