This portfolio consists of facsimiles from the illuminated Bibles in the Firkovitch Collection at the Leningrad Public Library. There are 27 plates from the original edition published in 1905 and 25 additional plates added for the 1989 edition. The most original innovation to be found in these Bibles is the use of micrography (minute script) to outline decoration.
