The papers of Dr. Charles “Rick” Chappell span the years from 1975-2009. The papers include materials relating to Dr. Chappell’s professional work at NASA and outreach activities for science communication and contains research materials, personal correspondence, photographs, notes for speaking engagements, and transparencies. His work as at Vanderbilt University, both as a professor of physics and Executive Director of Dyer Observatory is also reflected in these papers.
