The Alexander papers consist of the personal and career materials of Lamar and Leslee (Honey) Alexander. This collection documents Lamar’s career as an attorney, businessman and politician as well as his and Honey’s early lives. Highlights are Alexander’s governors years –1979-1987 and records of his stint as U.S. Secretary of Education.
