An artist's book in the form of a canvas scroll with a wooden dowel at each end. The text and five woodcuts are mounted on one side of the scroll, with colophon at lower right. A grosgrain ribbon with a metal hook fastener is attached to one dowel for closure. Issued rolled, in a wooden box with a sliding top and red ribbon lifts. The title is burned into the top of the box.
