A single-instance (one of a kind) artist's book in "magic wallet" structure. Two-paper covered boards are joined using folded strips of paper so that they may be opened in either of two ways, each of which reveals an illustration in watercolor pencil (a shotgun, or a boy attempting to carry the shotgun). An illustration of a pair of antlers appears on the cover. There is no text.
"In this book, I am depicting the physical limitations of being a boy versus being a man. Because of the implications that guns carry, such as strength, fertility, and superiority, the shotgun is used as a metaphor for manliness.
