An artist's book. Includes text on a mounted panel inside front cover and a three-dimensional tunnel of repeating cut-out illustrations of eyeglasses, with pastedown photogram of enlarged exoskeletons and glasses at the rear. Bound to black paper covered boards. On front cover are two plastic craft supply googly eyes (2.5 cm diameter). A pair of eyeglass frames lacking lenses and temples and with elastic cord attached at the endpiece on each side is stretched around the book as a bellyband enclosure. The eyeglass bellyband sits so that the googly eyes show through each respective lens opening. On the back cover is a pastedown colophon.

"This tunnel book is created with archival copies of a series of photograms that were made by placing cicada exoskeletons and eye glass frames directly on photographic paper. The exoskeletons were found in my yard. The eyeglass frames were found in a cabinet from an optical shop that had gone out of business. The photogram is a photo-alt process that I use frequently in my mixed media ... a process that keeps the "magic" in photography"--Colophon.
