An artist's book combining two brief pamphlet-stitched sections, one at front and one at back, with a middle section composed of interlocking concertina-folded sheets. The first pamphlet-stitched section contains a typeset dictionary definition of the word "water," and the second contains a typeset list of words commonly found in combination with the word "water" (e.g., "closet" and "moccasin"). The middle section combines illustrations in blue and white representing water, on the supporting concertina structure, with unbroken lines of words related to water in script on a narrower, interlocking strip. Thai unryu papers used as endsheets in the pamphlet-stitched sections. Title in script on an irregularly torn white panel glued to front cover.
